Hey, this looks like a pretty good deal. For cheap you can go to China to study Shaolin Kung Fu and Chinese. I'm thinking about going there myself someday. Check it out, it's cool.

PS: even Shaolin monks spam.

Talk about an investment with a high yield!

Dude, go for it. There have got to be, like, hundreds of thousands of unfilled ninja positions in the samurai market today.

Wow, this is amazing! If I wasn't planning on going to college and all, I'd be there. Sounds like a great experience that'll change your life. I guess the only downside is that China is communist and all- I wonder if that affects the whole ordeal or not...I guess it might not since you'd sorta be isolated on the grounds. I can't get over those prices! Neat stuff!

Yeah, i researched it a bit more. There are other schools (maybe a few) in different parts of the country as well. The price is actually not cheap if you include everything.. but think, what kind of crap would you spend it on anyways?
Yes that part is Communist, but currently it's not so bad, and the place is remote enough. They even got internet at their temple, and you can bring your laptop! Very Happy

Yes, i'm aware of that. There is definately no sex INSIDE the academy Wink
However, it's not like i'm having it anyway, so there is more chance of getting some if i can pick up some dirty hoe in Beijing or something hehe.

By the way, i'm going for a whole year.. by the time i'm finished with it, i'm gonna be more Chinese than Chinese themselves! Very Happy

You do know that there are shaolin academies all across the United States that are sanctioned and inspected by grandmaster Te, right?

You don't necessarily have to go to China for instruction.

But, hey, don't let me stand in the way of your dreams of.. stuff.

The question is which style they teach. The Shaolin you've got now is a revival. If I remember correctly, the Shaolin order has been destroyed during the Ching-Dynasty and the survivers are said to be the founders of the several Kung-Fu styles that exist.

It's true, i'm aware of that. The practise of any martial arts was forbidden in public for about 300 years, and most monks abandoned Shaolin Temple after the cultural revolution.
But unlike other people who want to go study Shaolin, i'm not attracted by this mystic and "authentic" Buddhist monk that can defeat an army of men singlehandedly using his ancient Shaolin techniques... that's just legends.
