The rules of Draw Club:

. Each theme will last exactly one week.
. We're looking for an effort, not a 10 minute sketch.
. You are not limited to the digital media.
. Do not "reserve" your place, post an image only when you have something to post.
. Feedback is encouraged.
. Keep away from interpretations of an adult nature.
. Post as many times as you like.
. Have fun.

Draw Club #27: Halloween

Halloween hits us on the 31st, and even though its influence is (I assume) largely confined within the borders of America, it's still a great topic for bit of humorously-bent scary-art. So you can make it halloween art, or just something scary with a tongue-in-cheek angle.

And I expect to see blatant overuse of orange.

Nice work everyone, very nice pumpkins.
I was going through some of my old 80s Spiderman comics and there was a guy called "Jack OLantern" back then, maybe he is still in Spiderman. Anyway, he had a pumpkin head and it would be cool to paint him too, maybe I will make an attempt to draw or paint that character later.

Happy Halloween everyone. :)

I just pop in every three months and throw something random at sijun gallery forum and say: "wow, it's been a while".

Umm, so I'll see you in three months.

(Hmm, should I take the text off? Or leave it like it is?)

klaivu: you have a great future ahead of you.

--

I'm not sure this is really worth posting, but I may as well. This is a halloween logo I did for an online community group (warning: cultural reference overload):

And here is the original image that I was taking off.

Happy Halloween!!! Great stuff so far. Mark Harris: I like yours a lot particular the colors, good mood and movement. spyroteknik: Just creepy, good stuff. Makes me feel like I'm gonna have nightmares tonight.

Well, it's been a long while since I've posted... So here it goes! I plan on making this into a couple of cards and handing em out at work.

Wadyathink?

You guys are really good.

Heres Jack O Lantern and hob-goblin as I was talking about earlier. I made these with Ink and a dip-pen and some brushes and stuff. The ink started to get everywhere and it got a bit messy.
Do you pros has any tips when coloring with ink, should I apply the black ink in the end of the process?

Copy of some 80s style comics, though I made Jack O Lantern a bit differently.

Gosh. I didn't expect people to even notice my pictures.
I'm overwhelmed, but I'm sorry to disappoint those of you who think the second image is drawn.
I made it in 3ds max, by simple use of displacement maps. No biggy really.

Guy-Incognito, no I didn't reference Smile I had made some water for work, and thought that it might be fun to use the technique for an image.
