Spooge, I still feel bad about my bad joking earlier, I didnt mean to offend anyone. I am sorry and I hope you are not angry with me.

I made this one today and after 4 minutes Photoshop decided to crash upon me, I didnt and couldnt save the picture but I managed to do a print screen and this is the result. I guess it shows how I work from reference.

allpetter, XIA, wasssup // thank you guys. :D

wasssup // yea I know what you mean with the colors, I am too much a fund of orange and most of my pictures are very warm and too much orange beige color. Nice one you have got there, I remember you discovered some of pierre secrets earlier, you wish to share some of the secrets? :)

now, I hope to find some good art book today and maybe some good photo book.

see you guys
Matthew

Sosen, i dig your doc.

Mullins, plz try again, would like to see how you try to manage it - even if its not just as brilliant - come on, show us. Smile
And well, it might be hard to do, but if you get it, it will be the most satifying speedpainting you did in a while! Smile

Matthew, well, if you just "copy", first you have to see, what color/value is really there. For example your brightest Skintone is just medium.
I made an overpaint, just some white and some black strokes - just to show you how important it is to get the right values!
And hey, its not as hard, you can do it too. Wink

mon, i love your way to bring additional deepness in your pics by overdosing the contrasts!

crazy artwork as usual..

Spooge : i love your " elektra" lokking girl... great colors, texture, volume feeling and anatomy.
Missing some Bengal post...where are you????

little submition. Ultra speed paint (about 20 minutes). Quite ugly, lots of issues with colors balance, anatomy, volume etc..but anyway...

oDD, I really like that second monster, dang nice. :)

Duracel, thank you for the overpaint. I really doubt though that the values are hardcore white in the outside, I may be wrong and you pros feel free to correct me. Have you ever been holding in a white paper outside on a sunny day to compare with the values in the surrounding? In the picture the values was too distorted as what it should look like and the contrast is way too high as what I think anyway, kind of why I stayed with the yellow highlight.
Still though, I am not sure why I posted that silly picture cause it was only a startup and then the photoshop crashed upon me.

Maybe you guys are tired of my pictures, if I am posting too much in this Speed-thread let me know and I am gonna decrease my posts in here.

zzzzzzleeping time right about now, good night. :)
Matthew
