I like how he edited out my signature and replaced it with his website address. You know, I don't ask for money, I don't require written permission, all I ask is that people send me an email telling me what they are doing with my stuff, and leave the images unaltered. I guess it's too much to ask. If they hadn't changed my signature, I would have let it go. But at least give me some credit.
I already emailed the webmaster of the Planetquake site, asking him to either take it down or replace it with the original version from my site. I don't really blame him either. People send him wallpapers and he posts them. If he doesn't I guess I have to take it up with Planetquake.
Everyone should browse this site and look for your stuff. I saw some of John Mueller's illustrations from the Quake 3 manual, and of course several versions of Raven's Quake 4 concept drawing.
On the brighter side of things, I'm 20 today! YAY!

Laz sent me an email and explained the situation to my satisfaction, and it is being corrected. Please do not flame Laz. I pointed him to this thread so he can see links to some of the other artworks you guys have pointed out. |

Now, if you were in Canada, you could have been drinking when you turned 19. Mwaha. Now, I only have to wait a little over 2 weeks before I start drinking.........legally of course. |

Just out of curiosity, why did he paste his signature onto other people's work? |

He downloaded them from an FTP, and they were without signatures or documentation on the FTP. Lazzyslair was his Quake wallpaper website.
Basically he had no way of knowing who's they were. He was very prompt in responding. |
