Are there any sites where I can customize a laptop with basic components?
the sites I find all have "built in subwoofer" , "intergrated 56k fax/modem", "built-in wireless ethernet card" and all kinds of shit I have no use for...seriously...56k fax? who the fuck am I ever gonna fax...especially from my laptop!
heh.
know of any where I can just pick a drive, case, screen, ram and basically that's it? or atleast have the option of NOT getting windows XP a carrying case and crap?
My wallet is too lite to be doing this. :? |

Hah, i'm looking to buy one too in near future. So far Dell looks like a good option, but i don't know if i really want WideScreen or not..
PS: For audio i suggest Echo Gina. It's tiny, and has two things you'll ever need on a laptop: low-latency ASIO, and a headphone plug with volume balance. |
