I'm sure you all have lots of these,
interesting to hear them, though they don't just have to be about pets...

Well I was mucking around with a balloon seeing how far I could punch it along the ground, No idea why I was but I was. I was doing this for a couple minutes, when I decided to do a really hard one and see if I could hit it out the door, what I didnt realise was that my dog (black labrador) was having a great time on looking and all of a sudden leapt action jumping up in the air trying to butt the balloon with her nose, I didnt see her and smacked her so hard in the head that she hit the ground with her eyes rolled back in her head she jumped up straight away with a slow whine and a stagger not know what had just happened, I didnt really either.
I felt so bad, poor doggy

and she is about 9 years old so she isnt exactly that young I was lucky that I didnt seriously hurt her.

Lukcily she was ok and forgave me straight away, jumping on mr and was licking me all over..

Such a shock because I hit her so hard, in fact I fractured my fourth fringer, not badly though its just all swollen. I just wonder how my dogs cheek bone feels.

*cringe* Crikey... hate it when something like that happens. I know I have stories, but can't currently think of any. Will report back when I can. @:-)

One time my (then)girlfreind and I were over at some friends house. I think it was for a b-day party or something. We were listening to some music and a song we didnt like came on so my girlfriend reached over to switch songs... but at that exact moment I was leaning forward and her hand came right across my face. *WHAP* I had a bleeding nose for a while and girlfriend who was very sorry and very nice to me after that...

I usually don't hurt other things by accident...It's usually me getting hurt on purpouse.

Except for these 2 times that I remember from waaaay back when:

2nd grade - I'm sitting down in a corner, drawing as usual, when a dodge ball come flying my direction, I whip my foot up to kick it back and it goes flying way off course. "Ahhhh!!" *Thud* I hear, as Tommy Hart gets knocked off the monkey bars, by the pink projectile, and lands on his head...He was cross-eyed ever after.

3rd grade(I think) - God, We were such dorks back in third grade...probally still are...but eh: We were having a contest to see who could jump over the highest objects. We leapt over chairs, benches, tires and eachother. Simple. So we decided to try leaping over higher objects such as trashcans. One leaps over, Two leaps over, Three leaps over; So I dash, I leap, *Bell rings*, I startle, I fall, I'm stuck...in a trashcan...with moldy food.

Last one - "Warren, Hold the dart board for us." "Ummm...Ok" *Swoosh* "AHH!!! My arm!"

I hit a dog once on my bike, I was going about 40km/h down this really steep hill,

it jumped out behind a tree, and then smash my front wheel plowed right into it. Like in Way finders Story it let out a huge growl as it tumbled ahead of me. I think It was a stray dog, anyway it got up and didnt look to happy. so I peddled off as fast as I could. I was about 10 at the time and the dog was almost bigger than me.

Heh Freddio, if you were goin' 40km/h on a bike and you hit a dog (when you were 10!), you'd have gotten seriously injured if not worse.

You were one turbo little biker.

I was messing around and I bit my wife's hand one time and it burst a vein!! Seriously I was just playfully nibbeling like anybody would with there wife ( ? ) and boom she screams and I have to take her to the hospitol. I don't think I have ever felt so bad in my whole life about anything ..but I still to this day don't know how it happened even though we have since found out she has weak veins

nah Snarf I was totally ok, I didnt even come off the bike. however yea it was probably more like 30 km/h

I was a crazy little biker back then If i remember corectly I hit 61 km/h this was my speed record down huge hill. that speed on a bike is very scary. I dont recomend you try it. But like those guys in tour de france and stuff are like hitting 80km/h +

crazy.

i once hit a dog with my car.. i was going about 30 kph at the time, i saw someone calling something over the street and directly in front of me, a german shepard came out like a lightning between the parked cars.. i hit the brakes but it was too late, i hit the poor thing. it flew about 10 or 12 meters, whined VERY loud and then ran away faster than anything i have ever seen. seriously, i was shaking like crazy.

I once stepped on a poodle's leg, while windowshopping. The old lady owner got very angry.
And one time, my brother was sick, all powerless lying on the couch, and I was fooling around with him, and he was begging me to stop... I get ready to go out, so I needed to put some shoes on, and as a last teasing, I put my foot right in front of his face on the couch, to tie my shoes. Thing is, I kicked him in the mouth. It was like one of those moviescenes where a character gets hit, and he loses a gush of blood through the mouth. I now know that's not fiction.
Normally I am very benign.

bike stories ahhh yes... the fun of youth. But that can wait til another time when I feel more like sharing those stories.

Pet stories..... well I am from Oz.....and we have some frigin' big lizards over here. Our dog thought it could take it on one day... and well the lizard basically won... the damn thing took this huge bite out of its leg.. there was blood eeeveryyywheere...

Gross. It lost almost half its blood on the garage floor. It lived... but mum had to rush it to the vets.

Before she left I was asked to clean up the blood. mmmm.... dry gagging the whole day.

Blood is pretty sticky BTW... it kind of thinckens up like custard does on the top. Haha gross...

Damn dog didn't learn either about 6 months after... it chased another goanna and the same thing happened. Except dad cleaned it up.

O_O poor kitty...

I have a cat and a dog in the house and they like to get right behind me in the kitchen...especially when I'm taking stuff out of the fridge. I step on the dog once and she stays out of the way for a while, but my cat must be stupid...I stepped on her at least 4 times one night. I got her foot really good once--thought I might have broken something, but she came back a few minutes later and acted fine.

Freddio: i was even craziier biker than you (14 y) cause at summers i spent most of my day on the bike! hehe
one 'bike crash' accident involved amazing speed.. i was rolling down the dusty road and i decided to check out how much dust was rising from my back wheel, so i turn around *DONT TRY THIS* to look at the back tire eheh (mind you the speed was at the max) and then AHHHHHHH!!! the steering thing starts wiggling and i cant hold and and and AHHH! i loose control and FLY off the bike then it flys ON me and at the end i had huge scars all over me, and the bike that was all bent and unusable afterwards :0

Ouch! Poor Doggie!

I have three Pit Bulls and could tell some stories forever.

We have been adding on to our house and there are pallets of cinderblocks throughout the yard.
Once, my older dog Saber saw us coming home and came running full speed towards the car but she got blinded by the car lights and smacked right into the stack of blocks. She hit so hard her rear flew up and also hit the blocks. She yelped and then walked waaaay around the blocks. She only had a bloody nose thanks to that thick pit skull.

Another time Kodiak, only a year old at the time, didn't understand about cars, especially trucks. He loves trucks and always wants to ride in them. Well, a friend came over in a monster Ford and didn't even see Kodi. He ran right over Kodi and the poor dog was pinned under the front tire. I screamed at the dude to back up, you're on my friggin' dog! In the mean time Kodi is growling and trying to bite the tire. After the dude backed off my dog I checked him out and he was just fine! Pits are amazingly strong creatures. He stays away from all vehicles now.

I could go on forever with fight, squirrels and trespassers stories.
Here are some pics if you guys are interested. http://home.wwdb.org/keliason/toyden/furkids.htm

my sisters friend has this tiny dog, and one time I was walking it, and it was trying to run up a slope, and I yanked the leash and it did a complete black flip! unfortunatly my sisters friend doesn't let me touch her dog anymore, even though it wasn't hurt at all.

Did I mention my rats? I've spent a lot of time tormenting them. Torturing rats, though, comes at a price. My hands are ripped to shreds from their claws as they frantically fought to flip over. Actually, I'm not that bad to them, I only bug them sometimes.

Here are some pics of them:

I've got a big black lab. We don't really do anything to deliberately hurt him, but once, we (my sister and me) were walking him, and she jerked really hard on the leash and he nearly did a full backflip. He's also been hit by dad's bike, and before we got him, a car.

Here's a pic. of Jack:

I have a cat and theres something very wrong with him; he doesnt understand my need to put down my feet in order to walk forward, so one icy, slippery and dark winter night after Ive been at some friends house and comming home, Im in a very dark area outside our front door, first of all I step on the stupid cat who had snook up on me, lost the grip under my other foot, fell over an squashed the damn cat, and Im no lightwheight, the cat screams and takes off like a bullit into the night.

man I felt really bad after that, the poor thing was terrified of me for a week.

I was at the annual Sky-show Fireworks in Perth, and as soon as the first round went off, this Staffi-cross shat itself and sped off in the direction of away at the speed of light. Never seen a dog run so fast on legs so short.

I was once a bike ride with my bro, and I was standing and peddling the bike when suddenly my foot that was higher slipped, and somehow went into my spokes of my front tire. My leg got caught on the fork, back end went upwards, faceplanted right into concrete. Did't break a bone, I don't remember if I had any scratches or bruises (maybe from the faceplant?), but it's nonetheless hilarious now that i think about it. My bro was laughing at me pretty bad. What a nice guy.

And I hit a squirrel right by the university. I was driving on the right side of the road (separated by a median from the other direction of course), and I saw this black little furry thing perched up on the curb on my side. It looked so happy, yet somehow I knew I was gonna hit it. I didnt slow down, I didn't think it was dumb enough to jump infront of me when i was passing. Speed limit on that road.....50km/h. The speed of my fire-red '94 tercel......110km/h. It went for the gold. It jumped right infront of me as if it wanted to cross the road just when I was passing it. I hear a *THUMP THUMP* under my car, and I slow down to 90km/h. I look in my rear-view mirror and it scurries off to the other side of the road it originally wanted to goto. Crazy mofos..... The University of Waterloo should put up a ZING SQUIRREL sign there... oie.
