Jeez Flush!!
The red powder in particular is amazing! Friggin great!
However as I have a habit of doing I'm gonna crit your work even though it's incredible to keep you on your edge
Are you shure the vortex is right? It seems to rotate the wrong way to me...

Excellent. And good to see you back once again.

God damn that's insane! Awesome picture.
My only real problem is with the fact that there's a fire of that magnitude going on in such a green/jungly area. I wouldn't think a fire could really get that out of control in such an area, but I'm probably wrong.
Still a brilliantly executed piece! |

I think the vortex might be right because it is under the wing, not on top of it. I remember seeing two vortex, one under and one above, in some documentary shows, and they correspond to both the painting and the picture. |

Yeah, perhaps. But actually I bet Flush intended it to be vortexes created by the prop now that I think of it....... |

To me it seems like there has been a Volcano erupture and the ashes and glow has been spread to the lower parts of the forests which has caused fires, am I right or wrong?
Dang lovely piece Captain, I can see that those cloud observations you made earlier paid off. :)
Keep up the good work Captain. :)

Yay thanx guys!
hmm it's about 4500 wide, and of course I looked at planes, and forrests, but I never used any ref for the image itself
Sukhoi: Come here, we should talk......you know I love you like a brother, but you know how important vortexes are for me? goodbye see *Piioo Piioo*
hehe oksorry now I made 2 vortexes, the original is on top, Peronally I think it looks BETTER with the first, the second it sticks out too much!
I never thought of 2 vortexes and stuff, but know about propellers and wing vortexes...
I vote for number 1!
thanx for the observation though Sukhoi! *pow pow* *reload*

Amazing, very cool.
You really painted all that, no forest picture in the background, man that's goood.
Though I'm the only one that thinks the fire is a bit to red/orange, looks a bit more like lava to me. _________________ Yeah man but it's a dry heat... |

Capt. Flushgarden has an advanced chip built in his brain that renders everything in the universe with infinite detail and dynamic range. From any point of view. Spooge has this device implanted too.
I wish Spooge and Flush post a picture of some dream the had or remember. Surrealism ! _________________ If there is no God, who pops up the next kleenex in the box? |

mmmm... yummy. Funny, I think the fire looks like lava (as had been said)... the reason is probably due to a lack of smoke coming from the fires. Usually forest fires have huge billowing clouds of smoke streching off into the distance... _________________ http://kontinue.com/coldkodiak/ |
