Wow Amoe!!!

Really great colours and values. And the design kicks ass too. An homage to all that is good. Ofcourse I see some podracer and some Scott R. in it. The blusish tint on the engine is excellent, and it's good to see your allround atention to detail.

A bit of C+C, I hope it's ok. If not, I'll remove it.

The perspective and discription of scale however is somewhat crooked.
The right racetrack edge (point of impact) is way too small in relation to the craft, when compared to the rest of the track and crafts. The shadow is a little too close to the ship aswell. To me it seems like the right (our left) engine and the nose would hit the ground aswell.
The cliffs could perhaps use some of that bluish secondary light you've got going on the craft too.

Great work mate!!!!!

Wink No way Deepsea, that's a Spitfire, baby. Mk V I believe, although it does kinda look like a bubble canopy.

I think the spit fire had more of a raised fuselage behind the cockpit. But yeah other than that (and the bent prop) it looks a lot like a spitfire

Dan: Don't question Mark's knowledge on spit's. And remeber there where several different iterations (spelling?). Ones with raised "backs" and ones whithout. Just as with the Mustang.

Laughing Sukhoi
Sorry Dan, but the later Spitfires did have a bubble canopy but didn't go into service 'til late '44. The reason I thought the Capt.'s spit might be a mkV(or earlier) was the 3 exhaust stacks on the nose. Later versions had 6 on each side.
I can hear Capt. Flushgarden now- 'It's just a godamn sketch Harris! Jeez!'

I owe you an apology for not commenting on your racer earlier. I meant to, but blah,blah...etc,etc.
It's very dynamic! I agree with Suhoi about the perspective issues. I would also bump up some blurry detail in the foreground as well. It would separate it more from the background and increase the sensation of speed.
Overall, though a job well done!
