A few years ago I would have given anything to be able to sketch what I've drawn here. This picture was drawn, heavily referenced (but not traced), from an old image posted on cartoonshane. This was my first image with a Wacom. At first I was happy with it. but as I progressed further into the image I wanted to express something in the image but was bound too heavily by my referencing so I never quite completed it. ahh well. I guess that will come in time.
Any comments welcome. (there is a larger version, just remove the "1" from the jpg name)

Very nicely done. It's obviously "unfinished" (even though it's done), so I won't make any comments in that regard. Beyond that I don't have any critisism. |

Clean up your edges and do something about the way the figure abruptly stops at the bottom (crop maybe?), and you'll have a damn nice looking finished image. |

I liked the image so I thought I'd play around with it... Just showing what I personally would do with it. Please let me know if you want this removed, my apologies if it's unwelcome.

Tinusch, I saw your overpaint and I got so inspired that I had to make a try too. I hope it is ok syzugy.
I added more red in her body and also walls for the weight-balance.
Very nice picture syzugy. :)

Damn,
those overpaints are awesome (and welcome).
Tinusch, I gave up before cleaning up the lines, didn't realise it would make that much difference,
and Matthew you've created the atmosphere the picture was missing.
cheers all for the replies. |
