Just amazing work, Cico! I can't find the words for your excelence! I just hope that I would have done those pics! Wink
I especially like the 2nd and the 4th pic.

What kind method do you like to use for those city lights? Just some patience & pathes? hehe! Smile

Wow, absolutely fantastic! I can only dream of being able to draw with such well realised attention to detail. I absolutely love the 3rd one (I remember it from before). Your stuff is so solid looking, I think down to your lighting and sense of space.

Well, I could go on and on about the things I love about your images, so I'll stop now Smile

Great great work,

LePensky

'll agree with LePenensky, that third one is a fascinating draw! I also dig the pirate's shoulder details. His face and hands stick out a little as underdeveloped - but overall professional quality and expression. Especially dig the Justin Sweet-like loose strokes Smile

Your site has become a new favourite of mine. I really love the tutorials; I've enjoyed reading through them now and then through-out the week.

About the art you've posted here, I seriously like the hellish knight stalking towards us. That is the best painting I've seen in a long time.

BTW, how is your race going to make (was it 30?) pirate paintings in a month?

hi i agree with everyone above i just want to mention something.

There are some areas where the currentobject is onbly defined by some single brushstrokes. wich is kinda cool an gives an artistic touch. (fe: glovefolds of the 2nd)

But iI find these area are a bit blurry would be cooler if that was a bit sharpend out. I mean shit on that this is just a lil nuance and its only my ersonal taste.

fukifino: well thankyou!

tiger: thanks Very Happy

Chthonic Divinity: no

Sumaleth: I appreciate that! I'm trying very hard to improve, and I like when people see that (particularly when talented people like you see it)

wasssup: Aye, the buildings do have some issues. Woooo, a compliment from wasssup!! *dances*

numb: eheh, thankyou!

insane paintbrush: Shucks! Embarassed

tepox: Well I've never been called Cico! Haha, thanks. Most of those city lights were just different brushes I made. I layed out a bunch of black squares on a new document, then defined it as a brush and used it on my painting.

tomasis: danke

lepensky: thanks lepensky Smile

blauman: whythankyou

Nordstrand: Glad you noticed the brushstroke style....thats an area where I've been working to improve in my digital stuff.

Flat: You crack me up Laughing thanks.

XIA: ty Smile

Critical pete: haha, lets hope it works out that way.

Max Kulih: Razz Cool

Capt. Flushy: hahaha, you ownn me now, and you will always own me. You've very much an inspiration though!

Merlyns: I've got a little side job right now Smile

deepsea: thankyou thankyou

Guy-Incognito: Best painting you've seen in a long time? Jeeeeeeez, thats a high compliment. Thankyou much. I'm also working on a tutorial for the girl knight above. Hope you like that one!

Flp: Hmmm, i see how the overall blurriness could be unattractive. I guess its just the result of the technique I was using.

Paintspot: Nonono, that would be ridiculous. Digital art has its perks Wink

What school[s] are you looking at, man? I just got the largest scholarship offered by SCAD (savannah college of art and design) and my stuff doesn't even approach what you're doing (I'm a film major...but I included some digital dabblings in my portfolio).

I'm impressed (as anyone with eyes SHOULD be) and if you end up at SCAD look me up. I'll let you eat my ramen and kill me on xbox as a humble offering of thanks for such great pictures Very Happy .

Excellent.
