wasssup, thanks very much, very kind.

im pretty new to the speed painting thang. i've always been really precious about each piece so as a result they tend to be a bit tight, and i dont have many pieces finished:)

this thread and the wicked work your all posting is inspiring me to lossen up.

heres one i did just now during my lunch break, me and a couple of the guys here at lionhead have just started to do a short speed painting session each lunch time, good practice and good fun, its interesting to see the different images people turn out under the same brief.

the brief was:- the sea.

of course we all know spooge is king of sea scapes but heres my humble scrawl.

Spooge > that last grayish toned warrior is again bomb !
How did u get that overall-'micro'dust feel on the reddish image with the man viewed from below in the Spooge(tm) Drapery style ? Is that a wc layer or added noise ? btw im looking at it right now in thumbnail format. Thumbnails give good "flash-overviews"

XIA: Really liking these. Very inspiring! We haven't had any standing poses at our class which is a bit frustrating.

thebrave: I really like the stormy feel to that one. Nicely chosen colours too.

Matthew: Liking that one!

Tonight's life drawing (well, the best of an exceptionally bad bunch Sad ).
