I removed the strings, I'll make a new thread when it gets a lil' further along :D
-----------
Well, here we go.
I decided to take my camera with me the last time I was at the studio. We wuz workin' on some traxx and whatnot; ya kno.
I'm not visually present in the video, only through voice. But you will get to see Steve, The Hamster Alliance's Audio engineer, Shree - the Malaysian MC, The back of Donny's head while he's setting up the main ProTools system for some ADR work and The Happy Sunflower.
http://tha.trishock.com/vid/ (Folder)
^normal (~5.40mb) Divx 5. Overly compressed(oops.).
^High-quality(~8.14mb) Divx 5. Better quality! you can actually SEE!! :D
Get the first one if 2 mb's would crush your 56k modem world.
If you want the songs that were used as background music in the video, look no further than here:

EndYah.mp3
The Mixing is all very bad at the moment. Lackings of this and that...but I haven't spent much time on the songs at all. for example, the reason "Break" is so quiet is because I work with the volume down otherwise my ears get tired...and I haven't gotten to the stage where I turn it all up yet.
None of these tracks have been touched by the blessed ears of Steve, yet - so they're quite harsh and nasty.
:D
A song that's not in the video:

Damn, boy, you just keep getting better and better!
Break rocked.
Endyah rocked.
The Systematic Response I didn't like as much--mainly because the piano playing is quite stiff. If I remember correctly, you're self-taught like me, right? Guys like us tend to not be expert intrumentalists, so we'd probably have to hire session players who are classically trained. |

Thanks, Luna. :D
Yeah, self-taught is really cool sounding....but really difficult sometimes. :|
the stiffness is hard to avoid for me, also the sound chosen isn't that good either. I need new sounds. :D
I'm currently in some piano and theory courses at a college around here. maybe those'll fix me up sum guud. |

You've totally destroyed my metal image of your working environment. I always pictured you in a cluttered bedroom... |

Drew: heheh, the cluttered bedroom thing IS actually where "I" work and make all the songs ..but when songs need to be cleaned up we go there to the big boys room :P
I have a shot of my room here, it's plain, empty and boring. :P
here ya go:

Yeah, I use Buzz. :D And it is very confusing if you aren't used to it's way of moving about things.
I uploaded a new piece I'm working on....was testing some strings. It's *points to top of topic* up there in the first post. |
