greetings.
i've got a really annoying little problem.
everytime i try to save a picture in explorer it suggests untitled.bmp instead of the original .jpg filename.
does anyone know the solution to this?

peace.

I'm pretty sure that you can select which format you want to save it as in the extension selection dropdown.

Delete the temporary internet files before you restart the browser.
I think I read somewhere that this should help ...

It happens with all the images from goodbrush.com recently though.

nothing for me neither.
and i can't select the format in the dropdown.

it seems like explorer modifies the file in some way that makes it unable to save it in the original format. i haven't got a clue what it is it's doing though.

I read somewhere this is because Explorer has a corrupt or unknown file. To fix the problem:
1. Empty your Temporary Internet files.
2. Delete any Unknown or Damaged objects by clicking Tools and Internet Options in Explorer. Go to the General tab of Internet Options and click the Settings button. Click the View Objects button. Delete any objects that have a status of Unknown or Damaged.
Hope this helps.

There is no known fix. Just some workaround and steps you can take to prevent it from happening in some situations. None of which work for me. :\
