Thanks Bengal, glad you liked that one. A story? hmm. Maybe just stack all the samurai pics from this thread, and order them differently and try to get a story out of them?
Here is lovely Christy somewhere behind all that canvas texture, with the dreadlocks, which she just admitted were hair extensions! Still a very nice person, though.
I really should be more deadpan academic with these. Too fancy. I would get further faster if I did that. |

First post on these forums, looked around for a few days, you guys are awesome! Here's my crappy picture I made in painter 8 in about 5 minutes. First time really using the program, and no wacom yet, so it's pretty rough. love all of the stuff I've seen so far!

sometypeof: yeah, I'm trying specifically to do so, on these images. good focus exercice...
I went to sketch horses this weekend, bastichs just couldn't stop moving for a single second. this is going to be a super speedpainting challenge for me...

Gontaro - Good to see you back here. btw, a few months ago you posted a serie of enviromnment paintings ( forest, temples, etc ) loved those. Are you still doing them?

GONTARO! Awesome stuff....motto ippai post shitene.... Its good to see you post again. It reminds me of the Vagabond comic, but much much better. I know you already have awesome line drawings, but to see the sketchyness and stuff still hold up is awsome!

Decided to try it again today. This one took about 20 minutes to complete and I did a sketch done before I painted it. I wish I had a wacom tablet and a scanner.
