Here's an update on an old post I finally got around to touching up for about an hour or so... not that long but atleast I got in some more detail from the last one... I don't know if I want to drop it or not yet but I like the character hehe just not the dragon... might remove him. Any comments on it? Suggestions? I'm open for anything.
Also ya the tree is a little sketchy :p... it used to be barron (no green at all) so it's just loose sketching to see what I want to do with it for now.

Ok worked on it a little more today and sketched in some new ideas for it. Someone want to comment?  Still looking for advice on the dragon. I tried to fix em up a lil and change the shape of the head and the eyes which was the biggest thing bothering me... the shape of the head is still bugging though. dammit lol.
Sorry for the image size for those of you not on broadband yet.
He doesn't look too small compared to his surroundings  also the cave in the back I need to fix because it looks really small... overpaints are welcome as well as any other C & C. Thanks

Here is another update on my paintover of an old drawing to bring it back to life (hopefully). All because I liked the character 
In this update I had used alot of the smudge tool to fool around with it and get things the way I wanted them and then I will begin to work on the details more after a little more smudging and also correcting the reflections on the water some more, working back to the background and correcting the mountain range.
Feel free to crit.
Once again, my apologies if it's filesize is a little large for 56k users

Looking very cool, i like the colors and i find the pic pretty funny, dudes pose is cool. You fixed the eyes of the monster thats good. If i can give some sugggestions:
1. the backgound seems empty maybe you could add more of that forest there and some road maybe
2. concentrate more on the main character, he is the most important here and he got no knees ! even if you are aiming for a cartoonish style, and you are not painting a human you still should have anatomy in your mind. arm on the left gots some biceps and it looks like artm but the one on the right looks like a bended pipe , work on it more

Bahhhh why didn't I think of filling up the back left with more forrestry... bleh dam this is what happens to your brain working on things at 5:00am  lol. Thx. It was bugging me and my brain was fried trying to think of what I was going to do with the left. And the rest will eventually be fixed when I work on it tomorrow night (hopefully).
