Okay stupid Photoshop question time:

The control + S key and control + Q key no longer work. I have a feeling I pressed some combination that disables it, but I can't seem to figure it out. Any ideas how to fix?

hey

I dunno if this helps but when I have been using Photoshop I have mistakenly pressed ctrl and space and some other buttons and I have been able to restore it with pressing either ctrl delete or ctrl space once more. Sometimes the zoom functions gets crazy and I have been able to restore that the same way.
Not sure if it helps you but you can give it a try.

see you
Matthew

Start photoshop and then immediatly press ctrl-alt-shift. This will trash your preference file, but that will remove all your Preferences, including your actions, brushes and layout. Another way to do it is to manualy delete the file in question. on windows: go to windows>application data> adobe> photoshopx.x> and find the prefs file. Delete that, and you'll just get rid of the prefs. Your layout and such should stay the same.

Also, most shortcuts are disabled if you are on a text layer and have the text selected, or the cursor in the text box. Including ctrl-s and ctrl-q.

Hope that helps.
