Actually, I think the legs on the last sketch are really wierd. Like they aren't behaving correctly with how they are jutting out from the hips. I think the placement is excellent on the first two though.

the first one is much better on the legs, yeah. the legs just cant both face forward like that with the pelvis pointing 90 degrees to the side....

and on the second one, also, is she HOLDING that sword like that or is it hanging on something... if she's holding it, it's way unballanced and would be very difficult to hold it like that for more than a couple of seconds.

I feel the perspective is much more interesting in the first two pictures, you changed the perspective a bit in the latest update. I think it would be more cool if the girl was looking up or straight as in the first one.

Keep it up

If you do decide to modify the second one and go with it, you should have her choke up on that sword a bit. While most actual swords aren't heavy, (3-6 lb tops) holding it like that puts a lot of stress on the wrist and is exceptionally uncomfortable. I am a period re-enactor currently studying swordplay in the Elizabethan era. It takes a lot of wrist strength to hold and use the sword normally. That way would not only be uncomfortable, but the blade isn't built to be used like that and the balance would be thrown way off.

Yilla:
is she HOLDING that sword like that or is it hanging on something.
answer: she is hanging Very Happy he he

My mistake she is using the handle of the sword only to rest her hand she is not lifting all the sword, (when she is dressed up the sword it is held up on that angle by a belt and some leather stripes, =) sorry for not explaing that =)

(u guys make some sence on the second one, i will fix that 90 degree issue,
asap, tho ill prolly will go with the other drawing, i want to have all my sckehing opitions well drown =)

thnaks alll for such amazing feedback it helped me out tons =)

Pretty cool, maxe, although he looks a bit like he's about to fall over backwards. It might work in the final composition if it looks like he's dodging a blow...not sure.

I really like his armor. Are you still planning on the female being a cyborg? If so, you might want to add one or two technological bits to her foe. As it stands, he looks all ancient, with no hint of the modern your other character will be displaying.

I just want to know what kind of program and the metod to paint your drawings.

Hmm, looking at it I agree with Vampire Wolf. The angle of his hand suggests that the swords blade is coming back at him. But his hand position indicates that it should be coming back over his shoulder. The result makes it look like he's trying to get it over his shoulder, but it hit him in the head on the way. Laughing

The immediate solutions are to either bring the sword to the near side of his helmet, thus matching the angle of his hand, or tweak his hand/arm to make it more obvious he's holding the sword in front of him in a blocking manner. The second option requires more work but is probably closer to what you had intended.

Still lookin' good though. Smile
