hey all
it seems the guy who was using stolen portfolio work to gain jobs in games has been at this for a while. i pulled the other thread since i felt awareness had been raised. however I keep getting emails from pros in the industry who he either worked with or inteviewed with and the company list keeps growing.
the most recent contact i recieved was from a friend at factor five....who does the indiana jones games and other star wars licenses for the gamecube. tis a good group....anyhow...mr runyon had applied there as well and was even offered a job which he turned down to go to raven and quake 4 instead.
i put up this thread in the hopes that my friends and others would be able to avoid this behavior but it seems I am too late. i recieved an email recently that he is asking people to pretend to be an art director for his references. I do not believe his behavior has stopped.
I have been contacted by mr runyon now on two occasions...
the latter email accused me of slander.
chris...how dare you...i tried to help you do it right and you ignored that help. We gave you the time of day on the art forums and you have broken the trust of many.
Rather than send me accusatory emails I invite you to this public forum to say your peace. you want people to know the truth...here is an opportunity to come in and say it.

I've said this before... these people are psychopaths. I don't mean that as an insult... they just don't have conscience... I wish Cleckley would be republished and people would read it. This shmuck wont stop here. He will probably find another clueless company, and continue his rampage. When there are no companies left, he will change his name and go into a different industry. Or try to apologize his way back in.
He will write heart warming letters trying to convince everyone that he is a good guy. Try to bully you with threats and false accusations. Psychopaths are amazing at these games. Ignore it. Spread the word. Nothing really gets to these people... and if it seems like it does - they are just playing you.

Now I'm really f***ing pissed off!!!!! This is Eric Williams some of you know me as Death Dealler from sijun!. This f**k posted one of my pieces at polycount. lets get one thing f**king straight.

I also work at Simutronics check this out!!! after he was fired I gave him twenty bucks so he could have some spending money in his pocket and this is how he repays me if i ever see him again mark my words I'm going break the little f**ks nose!!!!!
One more thing this a hole sent me an email telling me about his new job but didnt mention that he got it with my artwork!!!
