You all are insane, and I don't mean that in a "slang" fashion. |

popeye, it is from life, 20 min pose. Since the place where I paint only pays the models 10 bucks an hour, it is tough finding models. Rachel, with all her amazing costumes, does not do it anymore for this reason, can't blame her.

Like the colour on the last one spooge.
I've been admiring your stuff from afar (ie your website) for awhile, Pro. Glad to see you here.
I was talking on the phone while I did this. That's why it's over-done.

thanks guys! your comments make me wanna do another cheesy bike immediately!
spooge>> wondering if you would change the lighting objectively to achieve a better composition? ive been bothered by this issue for a while and still cant tell what on earth makes a painting look better, an absolutely right lighting or a stable composition...
bengal>>merccciiiii!! its for you babe (sorry for desecrating the bengal-color )

I am not sure what you feel about Drawings in this thread but I am posting these in hear instead of making a new thread, if someone dont like me to post these here let me know and I will take them down.
These drawings are my lunch-time doodles and it seems I got caught with detail but it is all good thou cause I need to get better at rendering with a pencil, made with HB pencil.
Spooge - I really like this latest wc you posted here. I was wondering about your work-methods with these wc paintings. How do you go by with mixing colors? do you mix the water-colors on a pallette on the side and then add carefully? or do you tend to mix them on the wc paper? maybe a lame question but I would like to now. :)
I am not sure if I ever would be able to do these kind of wcs cause the lighting in sweden is rather dark than really sunny and when we are doing life-drawings it tends to be more of a northern light, kind of moody but more plain I guess. hmm I guess we have our sunny days too but as what I have seen from movies and such Hawaii is really sunny. :)
Music building at my school, not finished, not sure if I will finish it either.

Keep it up people

A real quick one. Its supposed to be the girl a friend of mine married recently.
I wish I could imagine a picture and then just paint it from my mind. But unfortunately no picture in my mind holds for longer than a moment. It just fades away or morphs into something new like clouds in the sky do. Just much faster. And when I try to concentrate on a detail I just cant grasp it.
Is there actually anyone who can hold a picture long enough in his mind to paint it?
