1st post. =X my 3rd piece using the tablet and 2nd time working on painter, starting to get more used to it.

spent some time on the cloths/folds etc, but right now i'm kind of stuck cuz i ain't sure how i would want to finish it off, like the settings, background etc. it's about 30% completed at this stage, i think. Crying or Very sad

*she's supposed to be standing on the edge of a high stone step and holding some flowers(falling?)
i have repainted the face and her head posture, but now after i've done that i think i have some anatomy problems. anyone has any good tutorials on side views? =\

*edit 15nov*
took forever. i shall post here still under WIP in case i get some serious constructive comments or maybe if anyone would finish a background for me as collab. *lol*

---story---
They feed on humans. And everytime one's taken, the person's deleted from the world, everything of him. But from the oldest bible, she learnt the teachings of Enoch. Of the fallen angels and their sins.

She was the first maiden, and often does she dream of the ancient dance, that dance of death in the Elysian field. Often does she dream of him, one of the many who's been wiped away, but remembered, and known, only by her.

Hi zemotion

I wanted to tell you that I like that pic a lot even if it's not finished... I love the pose and the idea... Very Happy is she going to have white hair? that would be great! What about a forest i the background? or smething like an empty "citygarden"/park at night?

I am looking forward to the finished pic! Very Happy

Ah and I've forgotten to tell you that the face is great, too!

Bye,
geraldine

It's great so far! The face and the folds are amazing.
I guess the edges are just blurry because it's work in progress!?

The finished painting is going to be great! Smile

I think the composition would be better if she had more room
(especially to the left and above her head).
And I too think white hair would be great.

Hey, I got your ICQ message. I like what you have so far--very beautiful and poetic. Can't wait to see it finished! In its current state, it'll only need minor additions/fixes to be a complete piece--it looks good unfinished already.

:geraldine: thank you. i'd be working on the rough background ideas i have at the moment first. Wink and for the face, i studied a lot of enayla's work because some friends mentioned that it was turning into her style. or at least quite influenced? =\

:AndyT: aye. there would be way more rooms around the place. she's only 30% at this stage remember Very Happy

:Ylla: *n0dz* yes.

:Lunatique: well, thank you so much. you were one of the people who actually encouraged me to work on a tablet (but my current one is borrowed, sadly.) thanks for your comments. ^_^

This is gorgeous. I bet if you painted the background along with the figure you'd have less of a problem thinking it up ;]

i can't agree more. some friends suggested a ball, with her walking up the stairs? (then i'd have to adjust her cloths...) or a funeral. for the moment i think i'm going to stick to the funeral idea.

she looks so gorgeous. The only thing that I can see could be a problem is the neck, perhaps it should slope back more from the base to the shoulders? Other than that it looks really awesome. and great build up, you seem confident in your strokes.

the picture is very lovely, even without a background...

the story... err... it kinda made no sense. kinda like you were shooting for that thin line between mysteriously vague and confusing... and missed the mark. no offence, but it took me like three re-reads to figure out what's going on, and there's only two lines of text.
