Good work here guys.

Spooge - I Love that one, there are a lot of girls in my school whom has dreadlocks. :) I made a sketch of one of the girls too.

I couldnt find the dreadlock girl sketch I made but I have some other life-drawings from this weeks session. some poses he was doing was 1 minute poses but I cant remember the time of these.
The drawing where is holding a stick raised my inspiration and I made a speedy inspired by that one, I think it is in page 166 or maybe 167.

Cool thread Popeye

see you
Matthew

Nice work everyone.
burn0ut, have you taken a class with Kevin Chen, your style is very structual like his, and you two have similar mark making techniques. nice stuff.
Anyone for cornrows?

I've already posted these life-drawings here:

http://forums.sijun.com/viewtopic.php?t=34299

I guess it's ok to post them again though, to support this thread Smile

Great work from everyone else; I'm starting more life drawing sessions soon, so hopefully this thread will stick around.

Those I made in a park this summer. They were done very fast since the people kept on moving around, change pose and even just stood up and left the place (They didnt know I was drawing them Wink). I did them from 10 to 30 meter distance so they are very rough as well.

thanks electro and popeye, i have taken classes with kevin a few times now,(amongst many other great teachers) and kevin is by far the best, he's increadibly talented, and communicates ideas very clearly and throughly, and over all a great guy. anyways, i must keep pushing.

I wish my scanner was big enough to acommodate my life drawings. They were all done on huge newsprint.
