I heard that system shock 2 is pretty damn good... has anyone tried it out? and serious sam 2... can anyone name a few more?

System Shock 2 is good. Baldur's Gate 2, Icewind Dale, and Deus Ex too, which is similar to System Shock 2.

Try everquest - hehe massive multi-player game - Want too fight 3-4 type monsters with 50 of your online friend - there is the game where u can do it...

only prob is that its gonna take u a couple of months too get too the level and have the gear where u are actually are capable of doing that.. but thats fun too-- sorta

btw ghost recon is cool too

Operation Flashpoint is great fun in cooperative mode.

Deus Ex's GOTY edition comes with cooperative multiplayer mode.

I suspect that MOHAA will get Co-op in some patch by popular demand. Cause MOH would be great in Co-op you should agree.

Serious Sam 2 should be out soon, if not already. That's nice arcade coop. And Ghost Recon is great fun coop(if only my friends didn't suck so much... ^_^ )

unreal tournment, it's old but great
and the unofficaly add on tatical ops (counterstrike for ut)
also I've hearh return to castle wolfenstein has great multiplayer.
there are always classics like starcraft and diablo 2.
o yes, quake 3 is also quite good.

Wolfenstein 3D! It has simple controls, the graphics could use a fix up, but it's great nonetheless, and there's no satisfaction like killing hitler in a biomechanical suit! Such a classic.

Oh yeah, the new Wolfenstein is great too, except I can't play online too much cuz I've only got 56k, im a HPB! BASTARDS! Single player is great to play too though.

well, without any doubt, the best egoshooter out there are quake 1 and quake 3 arena with challenge promode arena modification installed...
but that's not the question.
as quake is a duelling platform per se, i recommend you:
tribes 2

capture the flag with a good offensive, combined of ground vehickles, air vehicles and guarding infantry rocks!
nice aspects are that you need several people in one vehicle to make it work. e.g. a bomber one guy pilots, one guy shoots and one guy guards the tail gainst rockets or interceptor fighters.

Deus ex doesn't come with COOP, it's a mod. It's pretty fun though, i Played the beta.
Lots of lag because:
A.) DX Netcode sucks
B.) Not much interest in DX (Since they didn't release MP with the first version) so all the servers are cable or DSL servers

Isn't halo going to be a PC game?
