OK, I just want a free webspace where I can store files for use in the forums etc. Needless to say, its hard to find something like that for free cause everyone wants you to pay to get remote linking. I signed up for brinkster in hopes that they allow hotlinking, and I will test it here with a pic, that I drew lately. I hope it works. But does anyone know a site that allows remote linking and has free hosting. I need a reliable site.
don't bother to c&c, thats another post. _________________ It has been clinically proven that other people's pain IS funny. |

Hot Tip #37: You won't get many helpful replies if you make people download the same 60 kb picture 3 times in a row.
Anyways, there is no such thing as a free lunch, even on the internet. If you are cheapass and don't want to fork over 30 bucks a year for hosting, then you will get lame hosting, period. That means, instead of ordering the extra double mocha latte venti grande, drink water. Make some sacrifices, get over your misplaced frugality and do a little scrounging for hosting. There's a link to creationstorm hosting at the bottom of every page on this forum, or our own Sumaleth offers a fashionable hosting service for a mere pittance of your earnings.
I use sumaleth's Liquenox, and I have no complaints whatsoever. _________________ QED, sort of. |

Don't mind Impaler.
It's always good to see which free hosting solutions are still working.
Especially these days ...
If you can afford it you should consider professional hosting though.
It's a lot more convenient.
You didn't have to start that many threads. Try to avoid that the next time. _________________ http://www.conceptworld.org |

in response to reply #2:
I'm a student, i don't have income, and i wouldn't waste it on a webspace anyway. All I want is online image storage with hotlinking. I am not looking to run some informational site.
in response to #3:
yeah, sorry about posting all over the place, but I needed answers fast, to this question that is. And I needed an updated one, cause all the ones i found on google are from back when hotlinking was still allowed. _________________ It has been clinically proven that other people's pain IS funny. |
