All I can say is.....WOW!!!
The line art is really great, I love the stance of the sniper in particular. The colouring complements the line art so well, I mean, the blues and reds of the second image are amazing! I hope you guys will post some more of your work

i really like the style
but- not much point having a cheak pad if he's not going to use it, and don't look much like a sniper rifle anyway ![Wink](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

the top of the soldier's head looks a little crooked....
and... laugh at me... but i like the shading on his crotch
on the shiney-egg one, what's the egg do? it kinda reminds me of a scifi version of the stones-that-glow in indiana jones.... _________________ Ylla's Art Gallery

Thx guys!
For the Sniper Pose, i saw that in a magazine, but it was for a shotgun.
I just assume that it would fit since he his firing in a hurry and fire a short range type of sniper riffle.
The gun is inspired by the Walther 2000 and Ac.international but was quick design by me...
And you're are all right about all the flaws on the sniper, that was a quick late night sketch and didn't had the time to double checked it before Jol get her hand on it.
And yes, its hair on his arm, Meglia style ![Rolling Eyes](images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif) _________________ www.grafiksismik.net

You do nice work but your firearms knowledge is bad. This isn't a problem unless you're drawing soldiers with firearms. Go to a forum called militaryphotos.net and look at the weapons that snipers use and how they always use a rest if possible. If you don't care, fine. If you do care it's nice to know where to go to be accurate.
PS the rifle in the photo has a scope but in no way qualifies as a sniper rifle. Just sayin. |

Yeah, the WA2000 is by no means a "short range sniper rifle". It fires a very powerful cartridge through a long barrel (notice how the magazine is behing the pistol grip). Yours could perhaps be something like the delisle (sp) carabine, firing .45 pistol ammo and being truely "silenced". The mag is far to small to have real rifle ammo in it in any case.
Your style is really cool tho', these are just minor gun-nut gripes. He might want to open his eyes before he fires ? _________________ HardCoil

it's imagination, you can also complain about the pouches he carries, but why not? and the compass on the glove? golden dagger? standing up to fire when he has a bipod? i think all it fits in with the mood of being not-so-realistic, and the short weapon makes it look more dynamic and in tune with the pose
and yes, nice work _________________ Derelict Studios|Godwin's Space |

I don't really care one way or another. He paints well. It's semantics. I wasn't trying to be offensive just trying to clarify. This is how it's really done. Bolt action rifle with a Remington 700 action and a Unertl 10 power target scope
