I've come to the conclusion, that I'm just dry on ideas for this one. Been wanting to finish it for months, but never went back to it. I have some ideas as to which route to go, but I never know what other's thoughts may motivate, being that the result could be better with influence.

I don't want you to finish it for me. :green:
But suggestions and advices, as for what's already and what could be in it, to make it better are welcomed. The tail has been pointed out, and needs to be corrected, I've just been too lazy to do it. It's also been cropped, and so the composition is a lot different, in my idea finished image.
I'm sure some have seen this, but the motif is to finish it, now. |

Sweet image!
IF I were to continue it I think I'd give it a battle like theme, A hord of horsemen and footmen ready to battle reaching down in teh horisont.
A dawnish atmosphere.
The thing in the bottom left corner could be turned into some undead creaturs helmet from behind?
Or arm/hands reaching up from down under this guy up on the rocks,
with battle flags waving in the wind..
skull/heads poled on lances`...
The monster this "wizard"? is riding on, Give the tail more wip.
(firetail)?
Maybe let the tail slash a fiend?
just my too cents. Really like the works so far
keep it up! ![Razz](images/smiles/icon_razz.gif) _________________ Fru Tina Kttet |

Personaly Muv I Love this one of yours..ALways Have.
I think if you solidified the bottem part of the image a bit more....it would be fine.
If that came in Huge Poster Size Id buy it. _________________ "The Wisest men I know are Bad Spellers."

Solidify, as in, fill the mass, and form? Or solidify as in make stronger compositionally?
Thanks for the input, Blitz. |

As In Fill it in
I think if you got some feet on him
really help show some weight in the character...perhaps on some Rocks or something
It could be pretty cool _________________ "The Wisest men I know are Bad Spellers."

i don't know if i like the "magicky stuff".
you see, the rest of it looks like it could be real ink or it could be digital, you can't tell. but the circly, scribbled out, magicky stuff screams digital. they stand out. they kinda have the same effect as a... say... a lens flare... though not as much of an eyesore.
i would very much like to see them replaced with something else that still looked magicky, but retained the same effect as the rest of the picture where you can't tell if it's digital or real ink
you did a great job on the wizard and his ride, though, i'm really impressed. _________________ Ylla's Art Gallery

"they kinda have the same effect as a... say... a lens flare"......no way.
Thanks for the advice and compliments, though. Will play around with that area a bit more. |
