Frode is my real name, although I'm not Scandinavian or something. I usually use Modanung as nickname.
A few years ago I was at a LAN. We were going to play Total Anihilation when I realised I didn't have a nickname yet!
I thought it would be un-1337 to use my real name so I made one up: -<(Modanung)>-. I suppose it means the same as Frode then, the wise... or something like that, wich is correct ofcourse. ![Razz](images/smiles/icon_razz.gif) |

cwstone is just a play from my real name. Stone's my last name and c w are my first two initials. Yup, c.w.stone. Hey maybe that shoulda been my nick....nah...too formal....but Mr. Stone now thats pretty cool! Sounds like a villan from a bond movie. "do you expect me to talk, Mr. Stone?" "No Mr. Bond, i expect you to die!"
Oh well cant change it now. _________________ -Chase |

My nick came about when a few years back I had given a class mate of mine $100 to bring me back an Awe32 Soundblaster card and I was waiting and waiting etc... and one day I was thinking about the Awe32 and heard the word Autopsy simultaneously and in my head I thought "Awe....Topsy......Awetopsy....Cool!"
I nver got my Awe32 and my classmate ripped me off 100$....... ![Razz](images/smiles/icon_razz.gif) |

My first name is sooooooo unique , I just couldn't use it (I've yet to meet another person with the same name).
Instead, I use DJorgensen - like how I sign all of my art. (I guess that's not real creative though) |

Is A-13 even interesting? Meh. The full name is Prototype A-13, from an inside joke with my brother. The old Who Wants To Be A Millionare show was on, and this one contestant was acting really weird, and making these "ooooooh" noises, so we decided that he was a robot employed by a defeated contestant from a past show. Robots are better at trivia than humans, and we called the robot Prototype A-13. Ta-dah! |
I haven't posted on here for a few years, so you prolly don't know me - but for the record my alias is my last name - and it's been funny enough for others to try and make fun of most of my life, I figured I'd stick with it. |

Shadow-X- was the original nickname I came up with back when the internet was a rare thing in my life. I think it was around 1994~1995, and I stuck with this nick for quite some time, as my main email from hotmail is with this nickname. I'm not sure why, but I remember when I was trying to figure out what kind of nickname represented me, everything had a '-X-' suffix to it. Something Mysterious in some sort of weird way. And come to think of it, the Shadow probably came from the video game Final Fantasy. He was an awesome character, and if I ever get myself a dog, I'd name him/her Shadow. But anyhoooooo, about a year ago, I decided, yep, Shadow-X- isn't me anymore, it's obsolete, and I came up with Diffuse as my new nick, and just recently again, I've been using Sketchy Platypus variations (i.e Drunken Sketched Out Platypus). But my nick on MSN is just Tak, cuz everyone loves Tak. _________________ Just remember, when in doubt, even monkeys fall from trees sometimes. |

m703-324 is a religious name.
practically m is for member and then comes a random unrepeatable number
basically it means that if you're really good at something then even a random 6 digit number will stay in people's minds.
and would give no chance for preimpression about anybody just by name, among members.
wierd for you, i know. but please no jokes about this. thanx |

When I signed up the nick "Monster" was already spoken for. a small tribute to a great amiga-scene musician called Audiomonster.
"Monster" is so lame it's almost cool.
They say "mon" a lot in Jamaica.
Should have used my family name instead. It rocks.

Now isnt digitaldecoy a cool nickname? *silence*
I wonder how lame it does sound to a native english speaker (seriously, can anybody tell me?).
Im going for D-words though - name is Daniel, Halflife-Nickname was "debris". I would prefer debris but the url was already taken... _________________ Que la fuerza te acompae! |

Returner is just a legacy from my ancient counterstrike days. I used to take pride that I always came back and returned a kill. Don't like the name now, but I thought it was cool as hell when I was 15 ![Confused](images/smiles/icon_confused.gif) |

I am new here, mostly worked with Poser. I have been drawing since I can remember. I now want to get back into 2D artwork, and that is why i joined here.
Anyway, being a newbie I am some what leary of even posting but my nic has a unique beginning and felt the need to share.
It started back in 1982 when I was in the Navy. I was going to school to become a missle technician aboard submarines. There wasn't a whole lot to do for us in our off time so we played D&D. I got to be quite a player, one of the other guys I played with talked about these groups that had competitions and that one was soon coming. My name in the game was Hawk (not very original I know) so when we joined this game there where tons of players that wanted the same nics. So they started adding numbers to seperate them when I signed up I was Hawk2E. My friend quickly pointed out that it sounds like spitting. So we changed it to Hawktoey and it has been with me ever since. |

my real nickname is "ey51" and not the one i'm using on this forum.
ey is short for my real name "eyal" and 51 is the hebrew numerical value for my name. then i just concated them to ey51 which also reads eyal (in 1337 h5x0r script) bleh! people thought it has to do with area 51, but it doesnt. also "y" is the first letter of my last name. |

when I was in high school people would always
compare me and this other artist... they would say
"he draws real art... you do that cartoon stuff"
suffice to say that really pissed me off...
especially cause we were pretty good friends anyway and
didnt like people comparing us...
none of that story has anything to do with my name.
the reason I came up with Animagic is I was obsessed
with walt disney imagineering and I thought it would be cool to
come up with a word like that... (engineering+imagination)
I later came to find out, animagic is a gif animator DOH!
Which proves the failure of my grand word experiment. But its alright...
now my site comes way before the gif animator in any search engine
YAY!
Im still poor *sob*
