Hey guys,
Does anyone know how to properly calibrate their printer and moniter to work accurately with each other? For some reason, whenever I want to print somehing out of Photoshop, it comes out WAY too dark. I have to crank the "Levels" up on the image right before printing, but that's just guess work because I'm not always sue how it's going to turn out once it's printed. Another thing I can do is to change my moniter settings to be much darker, so that the colours match - however, I have to make it SO dark, it's ridiculous. I'm printing from a Mac to the Epson 2000P. Does anyone have any suggestions? _________________ Uhh... yeah, what I just said. |

what gamma setting have u set ur monitor to? (i used to have my mac set on paper white)
have u set ur adobe gamma up in the control pannel?
i'm sure u can get a software RIP for the large format epson printers, prehaps getting this might help u..
how about purchasing a colour calibration system? $200 or so.. |
