As some of you might remember, I had the sketch for this one on the speed paint thread a while back.
Last night I was looking through some of my stuff and felt like doing some more on this one.

I don't know what I want for background, if any. Any help would be nice

Personaly I don't think you need a background, I think it would take attention away from the character, just having a dark shaded back like you do now is fine, and once you finish the lower portion of the picture it will look absolutly great.

The only complaints i can think off is that the light on his chin comes to too much of a point ( maybe round it a little), the hand on the right looks more like a foot for some reason (maybe too long? or the way that its bent) and its missing the thumb (well it looks that way cause is so deeply shaded and the shading is so sharp it looks like an edge). or it could just be me, im not exactly an expert.

but other then that i love it!!

This looks pretty sweet, but I don't understand how lighting from the background is going to be in his mouth. More ambient lighting in the background and from the lighting would make this pretty dramatic.
