Capt FlushG - that last one was awesome - did you paint on site or from photo? I think it would be cool to take a laptop out and paint on site like that.

The speedy is more alive than ever, very good. :)

antx - I can see what you mean, thank you for the tip there.

Chthonic - thank you

nexykun - thank you there. :)

bengal - I like your latest one there. :)

Capt.Flush - Amazing. :D

Nino N - Keep it up. :)

Well Chaos theory or not but my painting is Chaos anyway. I need to practise more on the settings and stuff with my custom brushes, still thou this one was full opacity stuff.

mmmm, Homer....

the lovely Noelle, always late, but worth it. She stifled tears when she saw these. I told her I would get better someday, but it didn't help.

BENGAL: Thanks for the advice. If I ever can achieve 1/10 of your skill in using colours, I could die with the sense of having filled my life.

Wow Craig (Spooge!) You know what i would love to see more often? The Sketches you posted last. There are amazing...I love traditional work. Listen do you have any Pastel Drawings/paintings? I have seen the once in your site, mouthwatering. Surely we would all love to see more. Scan away Craig and let the Devil out of your system. This forum is better then Television.

Last week i bout acrylic tubes and few cavas they cost me $300 Canadian with few brushes aside. My point is you inspire me and you teach me so much. Sorry to single out your name. I mean everyone in this forum, but for some reason i wanted you to read this more the everyone. To let you know that we are graceful for your efforts and knowledge. Thank you Crying or Very sad

Have you written anything on pastel or oil painting? if so can or may i have the link. Thank you friend.

flush: didn't see it before but that's lovely. really nice atmosphere there, like the lights esp. amazing of course: your so damn good nowadays.

zhuzhu: ha! love the fat kid!

spooge: Shocked I think this stuff is so great, love the lighting on the edge of objects where the watercolour stops and the edge gets indicated by the pencil Love how the subject looks so delicate inspite-of/becuase-of apprently basic and crude strokes.

mazz: cool pic, style, cool.

completely stoopid, quick follow up to that other pink pengiun thing at the top of the page:

quick colour of an old lifedrawing:

yet another attempt at spooging for the forums:

Cthonic Divinity: I love your work, and the way it shows up, like punctuation in the thread, bravo Smile

My first portrait. Really rewarding to paint. 1.5 hrs (from photo) . I'll be pretty chuffed if anyone can work out who it is Smile

holy freaking crap, these last few pages have been smokin.

I've been making this big painting and needed a short break from pirates.
The face is a bit more...neutral..than I typically like to make, but whatever, it's a speed painting
