LePensky, be glad you found them again! My answer is definitly YES! There is some real "nerve" in the lines and choice of colour as well. When I saw them I had to look for other pictures you have done and I am sorry to say I have seen them all before but never taken any notice of them... but theese are really something - and I wouldnt dare to point out anything for you that is not good because that feeling you show here is in ough to guide you I think. You really should start in this way to progress your skill, if you let me give you an adwise! This can be really something and I look foreward to see moore.
....and of course I must say you are good at cars even if that dont interest me Wink How do you manage to make them? That is of great interest though!

Bobuke, I'm really glad you like these drawings Smile

I'm currently struggling to motivate myself as an artist, and to settle upon a 'style' (being a games artist for so long seems to have reduced my creativity, bizzarely!). That could explain the varying quality of work I have posted here before Smile

Anyway, I'll post some more life sketches (which were done with pencil/charcoal/pastels by the way, usually no longer than 15 minutes each):

Thanks again for the good vibes Smile

...once again...Youve got "nerve" - Im sure!!
Although you need a lot of practice, never hesitate to go along the road - just dont miss the the pleasure of doing it.
It isnt the goal that is important - its the way! Wink

...youre really an interesting talent I think, LePensky!!

The first one is very good but a little to small in the upper part according to the rest. I hope you dont mind me dooing
an overpaint to show you.
First I made the part with the head larger, and then I drew the lines as big as I think they need to be

The second one is good only a little problem with her feet not in connection with the floor - no big problem though, Im sure you fix that!

The third one is nice to look at but I assure you, even though Ive studied it for along time now, I havnt the
slightest idea what you saw when you drew it Wink Please - enlighten me!Anyway I like it (i dont have to understand everything! Laughing )

The last picture has it all - so beautiful and a strong mediator of feelings. Ive said it before and I
say it again: There is nerv in theese lines!
Go on post moore!

Surprised

You were too fast for me Le Pensky......I have to edit my message directly because youve posted more.
I can only say that you fullfill my expectations once again!! Wink
They are all good and full of interest. The last one will fill my desktop for a while. You know its not always great skill that makes art!
I really hope you will go on... because the progress of great skill in combination with what you show us all the time allready, will be a great development to follow. Hope this will not make you too cocky!!! Laughing

Bobuke, thanks so much for you encouraging comments, I'm glad for you to do an overpaint to help me Smile

I hope the following images help make more sense of the drawing you referred to:

Also, the one where the foot doesn't seem to touch the ground (it's a long haired boy by the way, a minor detail though heh), the foot actually is on the ground. If you look at the perspective/angles of the stool, the foot follows this same line. I hope that makes sense Smile

Thanks again!

Smile ...now I see it perfectly even whithout your extra overpainting - you just needed to open my eyes
and I still meen that it is good just as it was even if I couldnt see. Thnxs!

I also understand what you mean with your explaination about the "man" ( Wink ) on the chair but
still there is something that doesnt show it all right, so.......I tried to make another overpainting! Smile

It is so little that does it!
I think it is difficult to see that this makes it moore right but I made it with black first and my
lines cilled yours, so I had to do it with thinner lines and yellow....

Use your eyes LePensky and let them guide you moore than rules - when everything is perfect
according to rules there is no charm left but if your eyes tell you that something feels wrong -
correct it according to your eyes!
If you think that Im wrong and you are right then I am sure that its best that your oppinion
rules! Honestly!! Laughing I have a long way to go to gain such freshness in my works! Please teach
me with yours!

P.S. did you see that I edited my last post when I saw that you had posted some moore?? Your choise of colours in that landscape in Speed Painting Thread was also impressing!
