Ceenda, Thanx for the comment. Zu, your work has a lot of narrative potential. They are just crying out to be used somewhere like a graphic
novel.
This was inspired by balistics beautiful post on page 148. That piece was quite nice, such simplicity of the mark.

Page 151
Swarm: Pretty sweet stuff you got there!
Absolutely love the oilpiece!
bM: Du r fan min stora frebild!
Sweet stuff as always!
Cicinimo: Ashamed? You gotta be kiddin' me! That is a very nice piece.
Matthew: Love the watercolor-piece! Nice mood to it.
Zu: Love the yellowtoned piece!
This page:
Blauman: Nice work. Is there 2 characters in the piece?
scumble fish: Damn, that's sweet... Some people get all the talent...
Gecko: Holy +peep+ dude! That's intense! Love it!
And everybody else of you! Sweet stuff! If I could comment on each piece I would... Just so much talent in each one of you...
I've just started digital paintings... I have always stuck myself to my graphite-pens... But I thought that I had to pic up a little from the digital side!
This one took about one hour... It sucks... But I'm learning alot anyways!

Yea, I must say, Swarm has some nice painting going on in his work. I enjoy looking at the marks on p151. The problem with digi work is it only exist up on the monitor. It's always viewed in such a limited context. Turn the machine off...and its gone. I see quite a few artist here who's work would be exciting to see large scale. Up on the wall. Don't get me wrong.....software can be your friend too. Where else can you switch color pallets in the same painting session and not have to clean a brush!
Anyway.......I think I'll paint something different next. Guns maybe?

Naffing off in paintchat again. Tomorrow, my computer desk arrives, and I'll actually have to do some WORK. The HORROR. (Nah, actually I've missed working.) _________________ Dignity isn't important. It's everything.

Edit - My God, See, at first I thought it was a pierre picture, truly awesome See, keep it up. :)
Edit 2 - haha, See, you posted just before me there so I had to make 2 edits ..hehe thank you. :)
Cicinimo - thank you. :)
Finer - I started to think about Doom 3 immediately when I saw this one and maan I read an article that it wont probably be released until next year .., still thou they are as what I have heard gonna make a really good story to the Single Player, I hope it will be in the spirit like Quake 2 cause that is still the best game ever made. :)
Nice picture Finer, sorry for my extra rambling.
Cicinimo - Me likes the hiding character very much. :)
varg - cool face on the character. :)

Max Kulich: thank you very much
Capt. Fred: haha there is no trick but i guess that i work by some rules that don't slow me down... on the other hand i dont draw alot but im not a lazy ass either i got tablet for about 15 months and i painted about 530 pics since the beggining, i alsow draw and pait traditionaly but not that much...so practice pratice blah blah is as always most important, youre developing very good (i know i have to work about 3 times harder if i want to accomplish something, but on the other hand i dont' want to rush and force things)
ceenda: thanks ceenda for all your support
wasssup:thanks
stoopid sketch of a stoopid person
i see errors but i didn't bother to fix them sorry _________________ portfolio | art blog |
