We have a big wall mirror in our shower. While showering, I realized it'd make a great location for a photo-shoot. Poor Elena, once again my victim.

Excellent work of capturing the mirror portraiture of a young vital lady ( I'm trying to avoid to use vulga-/sexism here, I hope that's to yer likings matey). It's always interesting to see a gurl exploring her body, obviously, but not only because it makes me get real tight down my panties but because every pose and every gaze tells the viewer so much about what's going on in her lovely head, that mixture of vanity, curiousity and humbleness, pandering to the apted beholder in big bold letters: Here I am, I'm trying to find out who I am, what I could be - there's so much to explore ahead and not the most banal, nor the most self-evident thing on earth fails to reveal new aspects, for every blink of an eye the person of which reflection in the mirror I receive changes, my perception is on the run and will not stop as long as I breathe. Face it! _________________

OMIGOD Flat. THAT took my breath away.
Matthew- Believe me, if I had shift the camera by just 1cm, I would've shown up in the shot. |

Maybe that is why I don't get many comments when I post in here.
The photos are fantastic. They are crystal sharp with definition and detail. The background lighting looks something like daylight, because its very bright and covers a broad area. Such lighting is fantastic for bringing out sharp details, but such light is also more boring as it is hardly dramatic. Great stuff. _________________ http://prettydiff.com/ |

They are digital art I guess....either way these are excellent photos. I love #2 the most but they are all great. They give me a feeling of innocence and beauty. Your model is very beautiful. Congrats on the excellent work on these photos. _________________ Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it. -Confucius |

Nope, it was in a bathroom with no windows, and night time. I used two 200watt constant lights, one on the right, and one behind her, a diffuser, a reflector, and for shot #3, I included the on-camera flash, with a handheld mirror which bounced it down to the floor.
Photography is all smoke and mirrors. You basically paint with light. |

Holy shit, Flat!
For God's sake, be normal more often. Beautifully written.
Awesome photographs, Lunatique. Elena is a gorgeous woman. Not only externally, but as captured by much of your photography, internally as well.
I think you have a real flare for capturing emotion not only in your photos, but also in your painted work (and music for that matter). A true artist in all meanings of the word.
Great work! |

Great lighting. Looks like the type of staged but beautiful lighting in a Tsui Hark film.
More Elena. |

R a n d i s- Elena is my wife. Yeah, these photos are just me trying to shoot some mirror shots--nothing too clever. You can see my other photography here: http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=318064
Ylla- Our bathroom is pretty big--but we had to duck and dodge between the lights during breaks. |

Lovely photography as always Luna. Everytime I see your stuff, I wanna grab the camera and go crazy. I can easily say you're my biggest influence in the photo realm. And of course, Elena is as beautiful as always.
