Hi "sister"
Good stuff, although I think the sketch of the sword wielding babe looked better than the finished result. I can't quite explain why. Perhaps it could be the angle of the sword. If it was tilted 90 degrees as to what it is now, with both ends pointing toward us, one would get the feeling that she's holding it right. Otherwise I'd say that her arms aren't quite flexed enough. As if the sword would drop to the ground.
Could you show that sketch aswell? (Yes, where would I have seen that you wonder, hehe)
I like the waving girl and the smoke guy, but the geisha takes the cake. She's just too cute.
See ya'

Thank you computer reprobate this is really kind of you
Eh Rasmus! thanks a lot, I agree something is weird on my rendering of the girl with the sword and i am posting my sketch as well (the hands and left arm was a little bigger). thx for all the good comments
I also got an early color version and the waving girl colored by Marek Bogdan.

Good jobs on all those pictures
For teh girl with the sword, the arm on teh right seems to get way to big below where the sword is, if you just srank it a little it should be fine, and to make it look like she is holding the sword there, the girls arms have to bend more forward at the elbow more, and the sword has to be moved up on the left arm so the sword has something to rest on.
hope that helps.
keep up the good work. _________________ Visit glitterbugs Secret Forum |

I think the biggest problem with the sword wielding girl is that her arms reach down to her knees almost. The forearms are really elongated so it makes the whole thing look funny.
I really like the girl with the smiley face button though. The print on the dress and the big boots are really cool. |
