Well, I am a newbie here. Heck for that I am a newbie to 2D work. My interest into it came from my Brother-In-Law. I have been doing Poser work for about 4 years or more and wanted so bad to expand myself. He came over for Holiday a while back and pushed me into trying some portrait work. For a month we spent every day in front of the computer and when we where not creating a site for him, he was helping me to paint (digitally) Now I want to get away from Poser and get back to 2D work. I have to date only four images done, although I have started a heck of a lot more I seem to stop short of finishing them and going back to Poser. No More! I really want to get better at painting. So I have been looking all over the net for some place to become a student again. I found this site while doing a search and have been looking over almost all the threads and felt this is a good place. So I joined. And now I want to show what I have done do far. These I think are pretty good seeing how I haven't done this style in many moons! Hope you all enjoy or at least like one of them.

Its a very good start!

The proportions are very good. The rendering can become better.
Just continue practice and you will make progress.
