I don't really know what compelled me to make something like this, I've never really done anything like this. So it was a bold move on my part to step into a new light of painting Biotech People.
It originally started out with just a head of a girl, just a regular picture, nothing special, then I got this crazy idea to do something weird to her. And this is what has come out of it!
This is all painted in photoshop 7 with the airbrush "brush". Originally it was black and white, then I simply added color as a new layer. Anyway, comments are always welcome, and since I'm not a pro, I'm sure some of you guys will spot a couple things here and there.

Total time to completion: 18 hours, over the span of 1 week.

I really love the texture of the socket (if thats the right word for it).

I dunno what it is, but something about the perspective in her face seems wrong to me. I think the lips should be rotated a bit anti-clockwise.

What I really like about your post is that you're showing the different steps of the process : )

The reason the lips seem "off" is because she has a halfsmile, I made her lips like that on perpose to give it a sense of warmth, otherwise it feels cold and empty.
