I like the red version more than the grey one. It would draw much more attention to the person who wears the shirt, thx to the nice red splash : )
But if you wanna keep it grey, i'd make the splash a little bit darker, more bloodlike.

The grey deffintaely looks better in my opinion.

And as for SgtD's comment about making the blood being made more dark, I would agree. At the moment, it's a tad too light.
