buki - thank you for keeping this thread alive, nice poses on the robots and nice robots too. :)
Berkut - a cool style on those.
This one is for you buki, I usually work on several projects at the same time and this robot is gonna be finished, you saw the sketch earlier but it is still work in progress but I thought you maybe wanted to see it. :)

I thought I was gonna do a progress picture cause I haven�t made any and I wanted to do one so here goes thou I got to warn you guys cause I work in a very caotic way.
I started out with a rough sketch for this one but I often just sketch out in just form, sometimes with lines.
I think I could have made a better sketch but I got stressed with saving progress steps, maybe I will do another one. :)

Hey Mathew,
I just joined the forum and I gotta say this thread was one of the first to catch my eye. I see it has been going a while. Please allow me to make my inaugural post complete with image. I hope y'all don't mind my emulating some of you guys! I have never composed an image with this technique bfore. It's a work in progress. I'm used to using layers in photoshop, but this image only has one layer. Hope you all aprove. This is an hours worth of work.

nice work there, really nice reflections on the head
though i have to point out that the face is out of proportion, the eyes are not properly levelled, because they seem to be in the wrong perspective
maybe you want to adjust that before you finish the picture

Thanks for the comments guys. Heres the finished/fixed version. He looks like he may have taken on a small army all alone, and someone was lucky or unlucky enough to tag him with something big in the chest.
Already working on my second robot...seeyaz.
