Something I started. Dunno if I'm gonna render this more. From a photo reference.

Hopefully this is not too Spoogesque for your taste Wink

DSG again;

Joachim: Things are fine here. Working at Ubi now. All is good... well, "alright" at least. Trying to catch up to the great artists growing fast in here... (!).

spooge> See is right,maybe your custom brushes are imitable,but we all know how hard it is to "copy" your understanding to painting itself.

janne> love your stlye,unique and disturbing,impressive

mikko> wow,captured the value perfectly there!

hardcore> haha really weird but nice

drunken> didnt use any ref for that one,but the form of the structure and lightings are relatively simple,i think its doable? Very Happy when i see interesting scenes or whatever things i always try to remember them,then render them later.good practice for increasing brain storage i think. your latest looks great too

see> those depots in behind seem a bit over the horizon to me,makes em look like locating in distance.but from the sizes they dont look really that far from the helicopter at all.other than that the pic is great,fresh night mood:)

Hey MON I did a study of that same photograph a little while ago!
Hehe of course yours rules so much more, but i'll still post mine.
Maybe somebody who is just learning can compare them draw conclusions what NOT to do from my painting while yours can be "how to paint like a friggin' master." Very Happy

Well, well ... only one unicorn around here, but masses of great artists! Wink
Its hard to point out some special, and its impossible to write down all those *thumb up*'s since my last speedpainting.

So i make it short, here is my tribute to this phaenomenon "Sijun-Speedpainting-Thread".

Edit:
