Your Portrait looks great, but its a bit dark overall. Put some white or hghsaturated-yellow highlights in it, would look very nice, im sure. Smile

Thnx for your C&C, Duracel - it made it much easyer for me to go on with it! Smile

...something was very wrong with this portrait Confused from the 22/7 too, my left eye, my chin, cheek and mouth!
So I had to fix it!

This is for a project in portrait sculpture class. We had to pic an animal and mix it with yourself, so this is what I did. Oh yeah, Mac Kime, nice self portrait. Your beard has become rediculous.

@"steso" I think u have made a good start.
C&c: The area in between ur nose and lips is a bit too short and the collar on ur right shoulder doesnt seem to go
around the neck....I made an owerpainting to show u.

@"Duracel" Interesting colours in this one...I really like it!
@"Mon" Ure very good with the brushes, the perspective and the light...
@"MacJ" This is a very powerful result...Havent seen any other portraits of u but it looks very good! I might have been unobservant (Sorry!)

I agree with many others that this thread shows many interesting pictures and its fun to keep this thread on top! Smile

Heres my next one...

Three more SPs each in about half an hour. Trying various different colour palettes. all painted on pc from direct observation. Really starting to enjoy this now!

Not quite me... but close...

Green with....

feeling blue?

Anyway, thanks to everyone for being so inspiring!!!

@"electroganic" ...Full of carachter! I love the shape of ur neck and shoulder. The mouth and eyebrows make the portrait.
More sculptures, pleace! Wink
@"vosi" I like to follow your progress and I hope u dont mind c&cs ...no. 2 is very interesting perspective but I wouldnt
mind to see a new example of it with other colours. Perhaps you could try to change the settings for the opacity.

Heres a quick one...with low opacity I am trying to find a way to paint
as if it was watercolours! Wink

@Bobuke: Thank you very much for your c&c !!! I think I can improve a lot if I know what someone else likes/dislikes in my pictures.
Perhaps I try out some new version of no.2 (but since I am an absolute beginner in digital painting it always takes me very long to make a self portrait Crying or Very sad )

@all: very inspiring work in this thread !!!! I admire your talents !!! Shocked
