As the title suggests, here are a few recent paintings. On the last one, I saved out some steps and put together a blow by blow account of the painting process.
I have posted some of these on other forums, so if you've seen them and are already tired of them, sorry.

| Whoa, cool designs and interesting read. I really dig mr big badass arm guy, even without the hat(which I think should've stayed on. go silly hats) he's very Neo-Napoleonesque. |

Hey thanks for all the replies. Hm now that I look at that first pic I don't like the way her outstretched arm gets crowded by the edge of the border. I might have to change that.
Gux - thanks, actually a lot of people seem to like that hat.
Nerfherder - you saw it here first baby! It's a quickie, about an hour's work. I might go back to it now that I am starting to see problems in it...

I dig the noise style you achieved here...
Your shapes are sharp and wonderful placed.
Everything is in balance.
I just love the last one - colors and lighning are masterful
reminds me on the cyborg pirate from disney's treasureplanet
