Tried to correct some of the flaws, according to comments:
This is the finished version of the piece I had been posting in the Work in Progress section. You can check it out here:

I think I got tired after so many hours around this image, and decided to consider it finished. It's funny how ugly I find the inital image I posted in the WIP section. Thanks to everybody who commented and helped me out. Critcism is still very welcome.
All done in Photoshop 7, about 15 hours work.

I love it 
The background is a little boring but the ground is great!
The cast shadow looks good now and the face is great.
Amazing improvement. Keep it up!

i got one crit, i think there should be some of this blue from background on her skin.
