Ooh.. nice stuffs!

[Shizo] - The area around Kelowna's nice, alright. It's in the BC interior, west side of Canada.. east of Vancouver. I's got a cabin up there. Smile

A Jetta eh? Man, I love the feeling of when you get something new (for yourself), and you're so excited that you HAVE to show it to everyone, even if it's the smallest thing, but getting a new car is always exciting!

I've always thought of Volks Wagon as a higher end car for the regular person, and i've never really wanted any of their cars except for an original mini, or a Passat. Buuuuut, my only complaint about VW, and this is coming from a car detailist's perspective, is that their carpets and seats are the most horrendous material to clean (unless you have leather interrior). Since I started my job as a car cleaning person, I've always hated the simple task of vacuuming VWs because their carpets and interrior eats dirt and absorbs ANYTHING! I swear! I had a jetta to clean on friday, and by the time that my co-worker was done cleaniing/detailing the interior and tires, cleaning the windows, I was still vacuuming. I think it took over 30~45 minutes before I got frustrated, and it still looked like SHAT inside, little lint balls that appeared from the vacuum hose rubbing on the material, little pebbles that would come fly into my eyes whenever I passed over the carpets with the vacuum, and bigger pebbles that still sat motionless despite the vacuum.
My boss told me of this one customer who returned his VW after a week or so because the interrior was so cruddy, and got it exchanged for one with leather interrior so that he wouldn't have to put up with that nonesense.
Don't get me wrong, there are certain models of VWs that I like, and I know VWs are reliable cars (as most imports in my opinion), but I completely hate them for the reason of their interrior. But VW isn't the only company, there are other companies and certain vehicles with the same problem, but VW just seems to stand out because this problem happens all the time.
Just my two cents! Nice car though. Have fun keeping it looking nice and scratchless, and hope you enjoy those days when you open the door, only to be greeted by the hot interrior of a black car. Smile Man, I have too much to say because I clean cars. lol. Congrats though!

You seem to be an expert on carcleaning... if you know what cars are hard to clean, I suppose you know wich are easy to clean, could you tell me? Just in case I need to buy a car, or my parents... their car really needs replacing. Smile

And Mumpizz, I think in Holland we call that "Appels met peren vergelijken."
Wich is strange, because appels and pears have much alike.

Easy cars eh?

well, you could be one of those weekly customers, bringing in your car after the day after it has rained, so all we really have to do is wash the outside. WHen that occurs, it really doesnt matter what kinda car you have because the outside takes no time, and the inside remains clean from your weekly visits anyhow.

Or..... an easy car would be a BMW Z8, Honda S2000, Mercedez Benz SLK320, any of those kinda sports cars. Cars of these types that have a soft convertible top are very much welcome because you really can't pressure wash the cloth or it wrecks the material and it's water-proofness.

Yeah......... almost 4 years of car cleaning will do that to ya...... Embarassed

Man...... sweet car. *awe inspired*
must...save......money .....for.... new car....

and aboot easy cleaning cars; I dunno.... haven't really kept in mind cars that have an easy interior to clean, it all really depends on how long the person goes without vacuuming or cleaning, VW's excluded though... hehe, I'm not THAT into cleaning cars, it's just been my job up until now (and another 2 more days, then I quit and move out west for school! wo0t)
