Craig Mullins' art just blows me away. Inspired by his artwork I try to mimic his style...this is one of my tryouts (45 min)...I know there is still a long way to go, but that is what keeps me busy...

I know if I wanted to mimic craig's style, I'd paint a pregnant woman too.

its not horrible, its just you'd be better off not advertising who's style you're trying to rip. use words like "influenced", "inspired" and "omgomgomgomgiwannabejuslikeu", rather than "mimic."

Cicinimo...what is wrong with mimicking one's style? It is not a rip-off. It is not even close to his style. It is not "horrible" as you stated, but I know it is nothing special. My motivation at present, is to try to "copy" his style, whether it be politically correct or not. It is not a copy of any of Craig's pieces. And yeah...if I could "bebebebebejuostlikaCraigggg", I wouldn't mind!

What's with the flaming here, everybody has a right to be inspired by someone, until one develops his or hers own style, that's a good thing right?

C'mon people, grow up!

I think andreasrocha is off to a good start, though the image is a bit pale, but I like it, keep it up andreasrocha.

The secret of craig mullins is that, he has no secret. What you see is what you get. Everything is there.
