Hey well first off I am new here... Now any who so I was doodling on the computer and my doodle started to look like a scarecrow so I completed it. I liked how it turned out alot so I decided to color it. Um.. Here is the pictures:
Colored:
Outline:
Wallpaper: http://www.joshjenkins.com/dir/wallpaper/scarecrowjoe.jpg
I usualy don't color my drawings this dark/detailed looking. I draw cartoons so I usually keep them cartoonish looking. However I am opened for new looks and ideas. This picture just turned out great for me. C&C welcomed.
I also have a couple of sketches for you to check out as well:
I don't know how to explain what this way of drawing would be called (anyone has a word for it let me know), but I took a photo and drew over it on the computer and made some changes to it to make it my own. I might attempt to color this one later on, but it will be pretty hard to color:
This picture was done the same way as above except from a different photo (obvious.) This is actually a picture of my dog:
Now unlike this drawing I just don't know what to say about it. It's an original alright lol.. Uh the style I guess would be inspired by pacasso (i dont know how you spell his name) somewhat. For those who can't make it out its saposed to be like a girl/cheeta person thing:
Well I hope you like them. To check out my other art go to http://www.joshjenkins.com. I currently don't have a layout (being worked on), but all my files are their. C&C welcomed on everything. Thanks..

I closed it (the browser not the thread) because there are so many links!
You'll get more replies if you post an image directly!
Post reference image/sketch or whatever the other links are under the image!
It looks as if you have to study this thread for a while until you are able to reply.
It kinda scared me
I think I'll take the time for a reply later! _________________ http://www.conceptworld.org |

You should have bumped the thread again!
I really like the scarecrow sketch.
However the way it's colored (or textured ) makes it look flat somehow.
The "picasso style drawing" is cool too.
Keep 'em coming! _________________ http://www.conceptworld.org |

Tinusch: I wasn't complaining I was actually complimenting that it took 3 hours and for me that is about the longest I have did (I don't color my pics this detailed much.)
AndyT: Hey thanks for your compliment. Yeah the color does look flat now that I look at it, but heck its a cartoon. _________________ >> http://www.joshjenkins.com |

I really like your style. I was at your site. You got a very interesting style and great sense of humour. I like your b/w images and those with limited color palette mostly. Very good |

man I like your style.. It reminds me of dexter's laboratory
keep up the good work.. however, I suggest that you stick to humanish characters.. drop the animals.. your first pic is the best IMHO _________________ A.K.A. deity |

Thank you everyone for your comments. I'll keep them in mind. I am greatly inspired by all the shows you mentioned my art looked like. So I guess it is in a way. _________________ >> http://www.joshjenkins.com |
