Has anyone read this masterpiece of a book yet?

I've just read through it for the 3rd time, and it is undoubtedly the best book I've ever read.

The way the book is; its descriptive work, the techiniques used, the way it sucks you in, the way it spits you back out and leaves you gutted with the final result.

It's just amazing, and is a book that definitely needs crediting for it's quality. People, if you haven't read this buy it now.

House of Leaves
Mark. Z Danielewski

As for those that have (if there is any) what did you think of it?

Haven't read it, and as it is his first novel I wouldn't expect a masterpiece.
But it seems interesting from the reviews, and definitely something I might pick up as I tend to enjoy books alike this.
I'm a "big" Stephen King fan Smile

Yeah, it is his first peice, and only published one as far as I'm aware. But it's something totally different, something different to anything you've probably read before as well.

It's definitely worth picking up, especially if you're passionate about reading. Smile

And yes, Stephen King is great Smile

If you liked that book, you HAVE to get "Haunted" by Poe. She is a singer/songwriter, sister of Mark. The album deals with a lot of the same issues, but sort of from a different perspective.

Excellent.

I'll try and find a copy of it somewhere.
