Farley13 - thank you for pushing me to finish it. :) Not sure if I am gonna use reference thou cause I need to work on my imagination a bit too. :)

Heres what I have so far, a couple of hours I guess.
I liked the pose in the picture but the environment and some detail needed work, I still have a lot of work to do. :)

for Sparth --- i keep enjoying your artwork, especially u did the cover art for our album......wich i missed to release my remix track on. I had working days of 15 hours sometimes....my boss is stealing all my energy dammit.

Spooge Dammit ! I am asking (proposing u) a poster work since 1 year and you dont seem to be interested....have you given up on posters ? I want to order a digital painting..in large poster format...tell me you $ demands...i pay. If you dont have the time, im sure you have some 300 dpi file floating around from the past somewhere large enough to be printed kingsize Smile let me know !

Great work everyone Smile . Pierre, those two landscapes are jaw-dropping. Shocked

Loving that forest image swarm, great atmosphere.

Playing around and came up with this, spent too long on it.

odd: thx for the information abt Morrigan, ill check the game out Wink

capt.fred: thx dude!

pierre: as i saw your latest mountain base pic i said to myself:"oh noooooo he did NOT do that, he did NOT do that..." and i refreshed the page------of cause its still there, it makes me look like a dumb, i hate you Very Happy

mykoz: Wink

swarm: wow, the forest and the wave pics are awsome! very effective brushes

duracel, your black-cat-sneaks-toward-waterfall pic inspired me to do this. i dont have problem with horses, i drew them a lot as i was kid. but a deer...hm, it looks definitely different than a horse, so i got me some refs to avoid painting a horse-like deer lol

ed: i browsed EXPOSE site this morning, was amazed by Socars fantastic, very dreamy pictures...then i repainted this quicky and add some depth to it,it still sucks but i hope i learn somethin from it Smile

Laughing hello everyone.. great works !

here is my contribution.. its not actually a speed painting, but it is a really really small part of a large painting i am currently working on.... so *if you break the time i worked on *this* section i guess it could be speedy Smile

just felt the need to contribute something

Very Happy

Is the smudge tool allowed? Sure hope so. Done in 45 minutes. And yes, I cheated with the stars.

Be gentle. First attempt at digital painting, as opposed to simple digital colourwork for drawn figures.

thx iandredd

matthew, that one is not an acrylic, I painted over one of my acrylics.

About the detailing, maybe you are using the acrylic too thick. If you use it like an impasto detailing can be quite difficult. Try using it in a layering technique. Acrylics are by nature transparent as opposed to gouache and are excellent for layering technique. It provides you quite a good control over your values and colors, although I don't normally work that way, like opaque and semi opaque techniques more. Great work btw!

Wassup, are you trying to kill as all?! superb work you got there!

duracel, great waterfalls, much more speed than in mine!

great work all of you!

should get back to the samurais, I also miss the figures and action. Landscapes bores me out really.
