wasssup - Supernice. :)
Ok you have seen the Animation. I am involved in a Game card project called Magewarfare and I posted the animation overthere too, I misunderstood a request there and thought they wanted a big picture of one of the frames, anyway.
I decided to refine one of the frames and this one is in the ending before the explosion, will maybe be used for one of the cards, we will see.
see you

These pictures were done with reference from the drawing jam over at the drawing board.
One of my favorites.
My best one I think.
The belly is too long on this one, and the chin seems off.
This one was the hardest BY FAR. I totally changed the pose ect, but the shadings kinda crappy.
This one is OK it was the first under hour painting I did.
Another one, its OK but the leg on the left is bothering me.
Took FOREVER to do I swear!
I hope you like them. There 2 weeks old or so, I havent painted much lately.[/list] _________________ Meep -It pwnz you. |

Dude those sketches are nice man, but you must also take the placement of typography into perspective as some of those look like they are taking a crap HEHE -Jeremy- |

shagmonkey : those last two are incredible. love the brushstrokes in the bottom one. the manic expression has been captured perfectly. post more and improve my day at work. |

Wow, I am so envious
*aspires to achieve the level of skill and vision seen in this thread* It's just amazing to me really.
... because I have an army of cherry seed pits on my desk. If you use your imagination it looks like they're using the pencil as a siege weapon agains the monitor-fortress.
... a lighting experiment, and I love symbolism. |

diggin that hand wassup
it was raining this morning and the WC would not dry and I could not get a solid edge back cause it would just puddle and run. So I tried a different tack altogether with the middle one, which I think is the strongest of the three. Darks first! These are 20 minutes poses, I think I have to work that way. Learn something everyday

wasssup - Thx wasssup, dunno what it is really ..hehe, I guess a dragon demon or something but its a monster anyway. :)
Spooge - the first wc rocks. :)
A quicker one but I gotta tell you people its very effective to sketch with full opacity cause when you refine a full opactiy picture it is easier to render the picture.

have been working on this thing for a few hours. done a speedy way, even though the result isn't. still needs some fixing.

This thread has become almost daunting if it wasn't so sweet with candy :)
Sparth - accuracy of your brush is amazing!
Spooge - dark to light forces you to keep your intial block in?
Wassup - wonderful
ShockWire - I'd love to see that battle from an intimate perspective hehe :)
spyroteknik - nice but the lighting seems confusing, candles in the back and he's still lit from below?
Matthew - that poor guy ;) keep it up!
Oblagon - the light!
firefreak - nice and simple, nice.
b & w but I was tired of it so colored in in PS.
I'll be back in a few hours with some sketches heheh. _________________ A bit more practice perhaps
