I have thought about a thing.
When I draw - I draw using some "standard" strokes and lines. For example when doing a face seen from 3/4-view then I draw the outline in one way, the eyes in one way, the nose in one way. My problem is, how can I develop those lines so I'm not just drawing the same drawing over and over again?
Does anyone have some ideas to practice this or have had the same problems as me? _________________ /Jesper GB

i visited your gallery.
i dont know what you excactly mean, but is it that all the faces look nearly the same way?
Well surf the SUMALETH LINK ARCHIEVE
www.sumaleth.com/links/index.shtml
draw , draw and again draw. Take photos, draw from life, and one day you notice that you can speed up the way you draw. Although theres everything in the picture it looks speedy but nice. So its all training which takes time.
Draw different faces. so on and so on ... |

Strange ... you are not exactly new here.
I think it's weird that you ask that question.
I'm sure you have read that many times ...
Just draw from different reference images.
And learn how to construct the head.
(or whatever it is you want to draw ...)
You know the Loomis Books?
http://www.fineart.sk/anat
For heads:
http://www.gameartworks.com/LoomisBooks/heads/page_01.htm
Learn how perspective works and how to draw basic shapes correctly.
Any object is made up of basic shapes ...
If that doesn't help ... maybe describe your problem better!? _________________ http://www.conceptworld.org |
