aarrrrr ... im getting crazy!
I play around in Ps7 with the brush options but my results are worse. I mean somehow the brushes look all the same.
there is no really useful brush i made.
I try using textures do give them a nice touch. But i guess somehow i dont unterstand the adobe custom brush way
Any help, suggestion, whatever really would help me out. I know that question sucks cause frequently asked but anyway. |

Thx man !
Although i already know about this options, it's helpful.
There were over 140 views you were the very first who answered.
But what i excactly want to know is for eg. how to build brushes with somehow PAINTER "effects" if you know what i mean.
Just to imitate some traditional painting. Therefore some custombrushes are quite good.
But i think i have to find the answer by myselfe. anyway ... thx and shame on the others
Maybe i have to change my nick to someone famouse ...
so next post in a view years. |

No problem . I'm glad I could help.
Sorry I misunderstood your original question re the brushes. I'm not exactly sure how to create Photoshop brushes that emulate Painter effects (personally I just use Painter ), but I dug up these links for you.. they give a basic overview of creating your own custom brushes in Photoshop. Is that what you were after?
http://www.adobe.com/webstudio/illustrator/illbrushes/main.html
http://www.mccannas.com/pshop2/tip16.htm
Also, you should be able to find a heap of nice painterly brushes online just by doing a google search. Lots of people have made them already and have them available on thier sites.
I hope that's more helpful _________________ -------------------------

Why not give Painter 8 a try? It's far more fun to paint in Painter. |

Well, you can for now download the demo version off Corel's site, and just do screen captures of it instead of saves... |
