Tried some more atmospharic colors this time. Music of Warcraft 3 helped to get in the right mood for this. Smile

I *love* this thread.

Jonathan Wahlstedt: great work, good details with those nifty flower things.

spyroteknik: nice colors there, I have some tips, try harder brushes for a more crisp and less blurry result.

the colors most infront sould be more saturated and in the back less saturated, that would help the perspective in your painting. other than that, cool painting.

m703-324: I totaly love that painting. that flame is absolutly briliant the whole painting is really nice. I'm not really fond of the purple/green combination, but thats a tast thing.

wasssup: also a great painting, I love this simple and effective style.
I have a suggestion for the water: in front of the water, try adding a few vertical strokes, it would increase the sense of that there is water. however its fine like this.

aColdOldKodiak: funny stuff. a few tips:
the nose seems to be short.
try not to highlight with the dodge tool, but using brushes instead, in the end your own colors are beter than the dodge tool, If you didnt use that tool, correct me if I'm wrong.

pierre: freaking awsome, great lightning as always, and its so funny.

spyroteknik: reminds me of a very good thread we had here. nice painting.

Drunken Monkey: nice colors, it has a great warm feel to it, I like it.

Soeren:I love that clip Wink

to all of you ( I dont feel like typing anymore, sorry I'll finish it some other time). all of your paintings are wonderfull, this thread should deserve its own book plus website and ofcourse a fansite.

-david

pierre, wassup: thanks. Smile

Drunken Monkey: Nice work. I really like the warm colours in that pic.

Another lunchbreak pencil scribble, but I'll get back on the wacom soon. Hmn, I totally screwed up the proportions on this guy, but his nose is reasonably accurate. Wink
